We stand in solidarity with our community and want to continue to let everyone know we are here for you. We hear you, we see you, and we stand with you. The death of George Floyd and the recent events across our city, state and nation magnify the need for strong equity work in schools and districts. Authentic conversations about privilege, power and race are needed and long overdue. As educators, we have the unique opportunity to listen to our students, understand their perspectives, honor their lived experiences, and support them in figuring how they share their voice to engage in this national conversation.
